The location and exact time period for Shan are unknown. He was most likely a working shop as this mark also appears on the pieces bearing the mark of KHC, HCH, and LOCK (it must be noted that it is currently unknown which or if any of these were the same Shan so exact dates and location can not be determined) He appears in this list because his mark has been observed as the sole mark on a piece.
