HHC (Hei Hing Ch'eung) was located in Canton, a flourishing port/city in South China. Prior to the Treaty of Nanking (1842), export trade was confined to the port of Canton.

A rare maker, Hei Hing Ch'eung used the letters HHC to represent his name. This maker made pieces for the Reverend Samuel Wells Williams, so it is probable that he worked in Canton during the years 1833-1876(Chait 56).
